Social Insurance and Labor Insurance Enrollment/Withdrawal, Maternity Leave, Childcare Leave Applications, and Other Procedures
Social insurance and employment insurance are mandatory whenever you hire employees who meet the eligibility requirements, and they remain in effect until the employee leaves the company. Also for the foreign companies that have started or will start up the business in Japan, they have to have the companies enroll the labor insurance, and register them into social insurance as eligible company and/or into unemployment insurance (if they hire their employees)
